![]() And until yesterday I did not even smuggle the red honey (so far two trips). Only case when I sold the mirrorcatch box was when it was full of dream snakes. which is a bit lackluster thanks to the lack of slots (I might cheat in that regard and mod the slots in, after I make some money and edit them out as if paid for the slots mods). I have about 2k echoes left and for the ship I have. Got a bit lucky with placement of islands and made so far about 8 heirlooms, I have the "fugelent impeller", Serpentine and the Mechanic weapon. I am actually on my 8th captain, though 1st in lineage and 14 days of play. ![]() Even if they dont return the boxes, they will still pay you more than the price of the box themselves so either way you are in plus. There's no point including a 30,000 echo ship if there's no way to earn enough to buy it-or if simply keeping it supplied drives you inextorably into bankruptcy.Įscrito originalmente por Raileks:I have less than a 30% chance of getting my boxes back in kitty town. I'm ok with sunlight getting nerfed, but I think that simply removing it as an option to make money without adding more reasonable alternatives causes more problems than it solves. But there's never a strong transition out of the starter economy into a middle and late game economy-there's just poverty, and sunlight. In the beginning, you're struggling to make a profit, and often come limping home empty-handed-which is good. I feel like, rather than Sunlight smuggling being imbalanced, the game's economy as a whole is. ![]() Has anyone ever managed to buy the Dreadnought without at least dipping into sunlight smuggling? And, perhaps more critically, is it even possible to keep a large ship supplied in the long term without sunlight? My problem is that there doesn't seem to be any other way to make money in any significant amount. I'm sympathetic to their complaints-it can feel immersion breaking and annoying to know other people can skip a lot of the hard work and toil involved in the game. ![]() I see a lot of people here unhappy with the profit levels involved in sunlight smuggling. ![]()
